AOE undergraduate students embark upon a rigorous course of study and research, which grounds them in the fundamentals of aerospace and ocean engineering while launching them into aeronautics, astronautics, and hydronautics careers.

Student researchers engage in fundamental and applied plasma physics experiments using AOE鈥檚 state-of-the-art facilities, including the plasma vacuum chamber.

Graduate studies in aerospace and ocean engineering allow students to immerse themselves in an area of research, hone their design and analysis skills, explore applications, and make an impact on the field and on society.

Flow visualization in the 花季传媒 Tech Stability Wind Tunnel鈥攐ne of the nation鈥檚 largest university-operated wind tunnels with maximum speeds of 80 meters per second. The Stability Tunnel is a leading research facility for aeroacoustics and aerodynamics.

Our faculty and students are investigating, designing, and manufacturing technologies to move boldly and safely through spaces both well traveled and unexplored. They are rising to鈥攁nd meeting鈥攖oday's aerospace and ocean engineering challenges.
